About Me

My life in Italy started in 2009 when I moved to Bologna for a six month internship. I thought I would come to Italy for six months and have a fun, European adventure and then return home to resume my "real life". What I did not know then is that life had a different plan for me. I ended up meeting someone one month after arriving and we were immediately inseparable. I extended my internship for another six months and then another year after that. During that period my love for Italy, especially the food, and for my boyfriend continued to deepen. Then in the summer of 2012 I got engaged to my Italian boyfriend and in May 2013 we got married. I now call Bologna my home and my "real life" has made a permanent move across the Atlantic.
